Named 2001 Nov 01 for Syuzo Isobe (1942-) [MPC43762].

Companion discovered 2012 Aug 26 by B. D. Warner using lightcurve observations from Palmer Divide Observatory, Colorado Springs, Colorado, USA. Announced 2013 Jan [W13b].
