Named 2012 Oct 29 for Yuzuru Yoshii (1951-) [MPC081058].

Companion discovered 2021 May 21 by B. D. Warner, R. D. Stephens, D. R. Coley using lightcurve observations from Center for Solar System Studies, Landers, California, United States. Announced 2021 Sep [W21a].
