Companion discovered 2024 Mar 13 by Pravec, P., P. Kusnirak, K. Hornoch, P. Fatka, and H. Kucakova using lightcurve observations from La Silla station, European Southern Observatory, Chile. Announced 2024 Jul 09 [P24c].
